VMS 320 EL

The VMS 320 EL puts all the features of the VMS family together with the boldest, sharpest electroluminescent display available today to create an aviation-class instrument for your coach. The large, crisp display puts even more information at your fingertips, and makes it even easier to read and enjoy.

In the default "Driving" mode shown here, the VMS 320 demonstrates its ability to show multiple gauges in large print along with an easy-to-interpret analog bar. These gauges are selectable by the driver, so you can choose the gauges that matter most to you. The top right corner is dedicated to the Allison Transmission, and icons for Cruise Control and Transmission Mode. The right side of the screen shows Trip information, such as the Estimated Time of Arrival , Miles Remaining, Fuel Required, and Trip Miles per Gallon. And a convenient clock and calendar is included.

Of course, each gauge is digitally accurate, drawn directly from data provided by the engine and transmission's internal systems. No gauges are more accurate, precise, or reliable than these.

The "Scanning" mode of the VMS 320 provides even more data for the driver. The large top gauge can be set to scan through a list of your most important readings, and you can turn it to any particular gauge simply by turning a knob. The gauge features a "histogram" showing how that reading has fluctuated over the past minute – an excellent way for determining how your driving is affecting your engine's performance, and an important queue for detecting overheating and other problems before they become serious.

Just below the main gauge are three more user-programmable gauges, each with its own histogram. The bottom half of the screen is dedicated to showing up to twenty readings simultaneously – it's the most thorough instrumentation package available on any vehicle.
